Hello! My name is Eva and I’ll capture beautiful pictures of you in Florence.
Eva Perocsenyi – Some history, some facts and a secret to reveal…In the northest side of Hungary there is a tiny little village which name is Perőcsény. It is a very old, historical place in a middle of a valley, with just 400 souls, mainly elderly. On the top of the little hill of the village there is an ancient church, surrounded by walnut trees.
This little village has nothing to do with me as I am from Budapest, the capital of Hungary, but I got my family-name after it and I wanted you to think about a cute, magical place whenever you are trying to spell my surname – instead of thinking that it might be the strangest word you have ever seen.
Growing up in Budapest, I got my graduation in the field of Film and Media Culture. I bought my first digital camera in 2004 and a month later I went to Rome for holiday. I ended up capturing my most-famous-ever photo on the stairs of the Vatican, which has been published in books and newspapers immediately. This was the moment when Italy and photography became inseparable part of my life.
I wanted to print some photos of myself in the center of Florence to send them to my family so I checked my private library. There were pictures of the city, food, some selfies and pictures of others, but there was only one decent printable photo of myself. Only one, out of the thousands I saved on my hard disk. I realized that I might not be the only one who scrolled through the many pictures of the phones and pocket cameras, only to find very few memories of my perfect moments.
So the idea has been born. I decided to specialize myself on Vacation Photography.
